Green Shoots Partnership's Vision
Aims
Our school aims are based on our core values - Respect, Resilience, Responsibility and Reflection
- For all members of the school community – children, staff and parents - to respect and value others.
- To strive for excellence in learning through a stimulating and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
- To enjoy learning and being a part of our school.
- To develop attitudes of care and tolerance towards each other and our world.
- For all members of the community to form positive relationships to achieve these aims.
Values
At Great Doddington we set high standards and expectations in terms of attitudes and behaviour. This is fundamental to the ethos and success of our school. The following values have been agreed by the school community:
- To show respect for others, our school and the world around us.
- To be resilient and work hard to achieve our potential
- To reflect on our learning and appreciate what we do
- To be responsible for ourselves and our learning, show kindness and care, and co-operate with others
Good behaviour is something we all take pride in and reward accordingly. Each week children are chosen for having high standards in behaviour and work or demonstrating one or more of the school values. Parents are invited to join our VIP Assembly each Friday at 2.45pm to help us to celebrate our children’s achievements.
